Houston was a bundle of love. He loved anyone that liked to talk and give him a good ear rub. Houston's Talking/Barking ability landed him his daily job being Head of Security for the Pearson Property. There he monitored the perimeter for the local Amazon, UPS, Wal-Mart and Sam' Delivery Drivers as well as unauthorized, Cat, Dog and Squirrel activity in the yard. In addition to Security Houston headed up the Quality Assurance Department for every meal, being hand fed his portion first to ensure the rest was safe for everyone else to consume. Houston most loved thing to do was be with his Mom. Whether greeting her at the door, following her through the house, laying on her lap ANYTIME she was sitting, or snuggling against her in bed. Houston required very little pay. Just lots of Puperoni, snuggles and loving. He was more than loving. He was loyal. Houston stayed loving and loyal to the end when he departed this world from the loving hold of his Mothers arms. Run fast little guy and enjoy heaven with Daddy, Little Jimmy, Lee, MawMaw and PawPaw until we see you again.

Graveside service will be held at 2pm on Monday 7/27/26 at the Rainbow Bridge at Evergreen Cemetery in Belmont, NC. Officiated by Rev. Raymond Walters.
